Hi,
I am working on Oracle 10g 10.2.0.3.0 on linux 64 bit, since i started stream replication, sometimes Oracle creates archive log of same sequence number and name twice at different time (difference in seconds), physical archive log has only one file. What can be the reason, is it due to log miner.

Is it harmful?

Creation of archivelogs by oracle never deped upon replication.Generally It depends upon you backup policies.Streaming just use the archivelogs to for log mining.

What can be the reason of showing creation of archive log of same sequence number and name twice in Enterprise manager and it is happening sometimes.
