What edition of Windows do you use?
And what edition of Oracle are you trying to install?
Is this a server or client installation?

If it is about privileges, try to log on as "administrator" (I don't mean as a user who has administrative privileges, but "administrator" itself) and run installation script once again.

I am using Windows 7 (Ultimate)-32 bit version
I am installing Oracle 10g Release 2 (10.2) for Microsoft Windows (32-Bit)
It's a client installation.

There are a lot of things that could be a problem. Are you running any antivirus program like Norton or Mcafee? If so, it could be blocking access, so you might try disabling it, then do your installation, then enable it. Some people have found that changing the windows temp environment variable to some other directory solves the problem. The following youtube demo shows how to do that.

I have done the same. Disabled my antivirus.
I changed environment varaible path to C:\TEMP to C:\TEMP1 ;but after that also it is showing the same error.
I tried to change TEMP Path to local drive also ( D:\TEMP1) ; but again it is showing the same error.

Please help me to resolve this issue. Thanks

Check privileges on the directory.
Be clear, is this C:\TEMP1 or D:\TEMP1?
The image shows C:\TEMP1.

I tried for both. Changed environment variable path at first to C:\TEMP1 and checked for installation. It is showing the same error.
After that I changed it to D:\TEMP1(D is my local drive)and checked installation. It is showing the error.

It is now clear as mud to what you have done or not.
Are sure you've been consistent in your tests?

So restart from the beginning and SHOW us what you do: copy and paste your session INCLUDING the settings and command you launch.
