ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced [message #268066]

Hi,

Some issue in Oracle server.Os is Windows XP.Database is Oracle 9i R1

Getting the error as

ORA-01092: ORACLE instance terminated. Disconnection forced
In alert log it is like this...

Error 600 happened during db open, shutting down database
USER: terminating instance due to error 600
Instance terminated by USER, pid = 4972
ORA-1092 signalled during: alter database open...

Any idea ? suggestion Please help me ...

Your database might be corrupted. Restore from backup of log a TAR/SR on Metalink.

ORA-00600 = Oracle bug => search on Metalink and/or call Oracle support
