Hi,

Need to know ...If Oracle Server is installed on Windows XP ,Can other systems (connected via LAN) access the database server?

Is it necessary to have Network Operating sytem installed on the server system ? If so, what are the reasons?

Yes, You can installed oracle server on windows xp and other systems can access your database.
